In order to win a legendary haunted guitar, Emily is determined to create the most rockin' song the world has ever known! But can she do it solo? Emily isn't known for playing well with others, but she's going to have to rely on the help of some strangers if she's going to succeed on her musical journey to the true heart of rock 'n' roll! Emily the Strange creator Rob Reger teams up with co-writer Mariah Huehner (True Blood, Angel) and artist Emily Ivie (The Locked Maze, Rotsterarsil) for a brand-new, full-color Emily the Strange mini-series full of troublemaking cats, mad science, new friends, and killer guitar riffs!

Emily and the Strangers is a very enjoyable comics. Emily and the Strangers are very strange and different people. It was really nice reading about such different characters. Also, there are a lot of cats in this book.

The illustrations were amazing! I love, love, love the artwork done in this comics! They were fantastic! The story was fun and amusing to read.

Emily the Strange seemed like the rock-goth type and she was very fun and sarcastic. I really love how weird she was, sometimes. She has a time machine and lots of other cool things too!

The reason I gave this three stars is that I finished this book in about thirty minutes and thirty minutes is not enough time for the awesomeness to sink in, you know? That's why I find comics very difficult to rate because I finish them quickly and I'm left behind feeling nothing. Don't let my ratings deter you from reading this book! It's a very enjoyable read! Definitely pick this book up for the amazing illustrations!
